Care Certifications: HHA, PCA, or CNA certification required
Reliable Transportation: Commuting to clients within Norfolk County and surrounding communities
Flexible Availability: Morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts available

HOW THE GRANDDAUGHTER NETWORK WORKS
Caregivers who join The Granddaughter Network are considered for referral opportunities with families based on fit, availability, preferences, and location. We help facilitate introductions and coordination, but caregivers remain independent and decide whether to accept opportunities and how to structure their work arrangements directly with families.

The Granddaughter Network operates as a non-medical caregiver referral and care coordination network in Massachusetts. We believe families and caregivers benefit from clear expectations, transparent communication, and a strong understanding of how independent work arrangements function. Our role and responsibilities
The Granddaughter Network does not employ caregivers.
We do not act as a staffing agency or payroll provider.
Independent caregivers maintain control over the services they offer.
Families and caregivers determine schedules, supervision, and payment arrangements directly with one another.
Medical limitations
We do not provide medical advice, medical care, or clinical supervision. Any medical decisions, treatment, or clinical oversight remain the responsibility of licensed medical professionals and the families who work with them.
Massachusetts rights and transparency
We support transparency in accordance with Massachusetts labor and domestic worker protections and encourage families and caregivers to review their rights and responsibilities, including:
Massachusetts Domestic Workers Bill of Rights (M.G.L. c.149 §190)
Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office on domestic workers’ workplace rights
Temporary Workers Right to Know Law and related regulations
Massachusetts standards for independent contractor classification including three prongs of test
We encourage families and caregivers to discuss and document their agreements in a way that reflects these protections—covering services, schedules, pay, time off, and other important terms—so everyone begins with clarity and mutual understanding.
