GET MATCHED WITH CAREGIVERS WHO PROVIDED UNMATCHED CARE
Every family’s needs are different. That is why we take a thoughtful, personalized approach to caregiver matching and care coordination—helping families connect with independent caregivers and community-based support that goes beyond basic home assistance.
Whether your loved one needs help after surgery, support with mobility, personal routines, companionship, medication reminders, or access to meaningful quality-of-life services like hair appointments, pet companionship, or social outings, we help coordinate a custom support plan built around what matters most.

HOW our care coordination WORKS
-
Call us at 617-922-4143 or submit an inquiry on our Contact page, and hare your care needs, preferences, and goals. We’ll explain how our referral and coordination model works and answer initial questions.
If it appears to be a fit, we gather more information about the support you’re seeking so we can identify possible caregiver matches.
-
Based on everything we’ve learned, we introduce you to independent caregivers. Families choose whether to move forward and discuss services, schedules, supervision, and payment directly with the caregiver.
We remain available for care coordination support and communication guidance as arrangements begin.
-
We ensure you and your independent caregiver have a great start with frequent check-ins. Our care plans offer customized care for companionship, daily living support, recovery (and everything in between) delivered with the warmth and reliability of your neighborhood granddaughter.
RIGHTS & COMPLIANCE
know your rights & how we work
The Granddaughter Network operates as a non-medical caregiver referral and care coordination network in Massachusetts. We believe families and caregivers benefit from clear expectations, transparent communication, and a strong understanding of how independent work arrangements function. Please see full list of our company disclaimers here.
Our role and responsibilities
The Granddaughter Network does not employ caregivers.
We do not act as a staffing agency or payroll provider.
Independent caregivers maintain control over the services they offer.
Families and caregivers determine schedules, supervision, and payment arrangements directly with one another.
Medical limitations
We do not provide medical advice, medical care, or clinical supervision. Any medical decisions, treatment, or clinical oversight remain the responsibility of licensed medical professionals and the families who work with them.
Massachusetts rights and transparency
We support transparency in accordance with Massachusetts labor and domestic worker protections and encourage families and caregivers to review their rights and responsibilities, including:
Massachusetts Domestic Workers Bill of Rights (M.G.L. c.149 §190)
Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office on domestic workers’ workplace rights
Temporary Workers Right to Know Law and related regulations
Massachusetts standards for independent contractor classification including three prongs of test
We encourage families and caregivers to discuss and document their agreements in a way that reflects these protections—covering services, schedules, pay, time off, and other important terms—so everyone begins with clarity and mutual understanding.
MORE THAN BASIC CARE SUPPORT
A CAREGIVER MATCH THAT FINALLY BRINGS JOY
We know that true support is about more than checklists and tasks. Our coordination team helps families tap into a broad, community-rooted network of independent caregivers and non-medical service providers who can tailor support to what matters most—whether that means a weekly salon visit, time with a beloved pet, a favorite Bingo game, or other small rituals that make each day feel meaningful.
Tell us what your loved one enjoys, and we’ll help you build it into the care plan. From practical help to uplifting moments, we coordinate care that feels thoughtful, personal, and deeply connected to your loved one’s life.
